Founded in in 1977, Bux-Mont Meals on Wheels provides nutritious, low-cost , hot meals to those who are unable to cook for themselves. During the past year, the organization provided over 21,000 meals to over 100 local residents from its base at the kitchens of Abington Memorial Hospital's Warminster Center. Bux-Mont serves deserving persons in Hatboro, Warminster, Horsham and Upper Moreland Townships. Packaging and delivery of meals is performed by volunteers. Breathing Room Foundation
Our mission is to reach out to every family within a twenty-mile radius who has a member suffering from cancer. We recognize that a cancer diagnosis affects every aspect of a family’s life; emotional, physical, spiritual, and financial. We strive to provide a family with whatever it is that will allow them a bit of “breathing room” from their daily struggle against cancer. It is our hope that this will allow them to concentrate all of their efforts toward regaining their physical health.

Club Meetings are held in the Parish Hall of The Church of the Advent located at 12 Byberry Rd Hatboro, PA (parking at Hatboro Federal Savings)on the second Thursday of October, November, March and May at 7:00 PM. The April meeting is on April 16th at the church. Our club is looking for new members whether you're a beginning gardener an experienced gardener or someone who just likes to play in the dirt.

Both Hatboro and Horsham regularly show these programs on Channel 22. Sponsors are always welcome to defray the of these productions. Uptown String Band Philadelphia Mummers Inc.
The Uptown String Band is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization who's mission is to promote the 100+ years tradition of Philadelphia mummery, participate in the annual Philadelphia Mummers Parade and provide opportunities for mummers participation. Uptown is the only Mummers string band located in the Philly suburbs and has been the highest placing string band in the Mummers Parade with both men and women as members for the past 3 years. The band is always looking for new musicians, marshals, and others talented in music arranging, costume design, prop/scenery building and fund raising. Instruments include banjo, accordion, saxophone, string bass, bells and drums. Guitar players can play banjo “guitar style” and help carry on the historic Mummers tradition. We rehearse every Tuesday at 8:15PM at the William Penn Fire House at Trenton Road and Main Street in Hulmeville, lower Bucks County.

Willow Grove CDC provides permanent, safe, clean, well maintained, affordable housing for families living between 35% and 80% of median income (the working poor). Integrated into the provision of housing is the life skills financial management training for tenant families. This training encompasses credit repair (getting to the place of being creditworthy), budgeting, disciplined savings , and first time home buyer training.
